pharos iPad App

pharos Displays now supports an iPad client. Images, slideshows and interactive questionnaires can run on iPad stands, with Basler Kantonalbank and Bank Cler as the first users of this technology.

The assigned content follows the location

The app reports its location to pharos Cloud and displays the scene assigned to that location. Content is selected through the central configuration rather than manually chosen on each iPad, so a stand can display the appropriate scene when it moves between configured locations.

We use SimpleMDM for over-the-air app updates. This device-management task is separate from managing files, display content and scene assignments in pharos Cloud.

Manage content and screens centrally

• Files and locations: media management, locations, geofences, automatic location detection and assigned scenes.
• Screen status: active and inactive screens, together with their activation history.
• Scene control: the active scene, next scene and scene loops, plus previews for single images, slideshows, video and customer-feedback questions and buttons.
• Remote checks: screenshots from an iPad and scene-performance analytics.
• Reporting: customer-feedback analysis and Excel reports.

More than an image on a tablet

The new client combines the display interface with the tools needed to assign content, check devices and evaluate feedback. Teams can manage their iPad displays centrally while visitors interact with the content on site.
