An interactive e-banking demo for BKB

Interactive banking workflows, explained step by step.

Our new e-banking demo for Basler Kantonalbank turns everyday banking tasks into an interactive experience. Customers can explore the interface step by step, while advisors have a practical tool for explaining how it works.

Learning by trying

How do I find my account overview, enter a payment or place a securities order? The new BKB demo lets customers follow these tasks in a reproduction of the e-banking interface. It is an interactive HTML5 application, not a sequence of static screenshots or a video that customers can only watch.

The demonstration covers the login process, account overview, payment overview, new payments and a securities purchase. Navigation connects the individual screens so that advisors can explain a complete process and customers can explore the next step themselves.

Familiar screens, interactive details

The overview includes movable widgets and scrollable activity and payment lists. Menus, input fields and confirmation steps make the selected workflows tangible. The SMS login step is simulated as part of the demonstration.

The aim is to explain the bank’s digital service through its own interface. Instead of describing a payment in the abstract, an advisor can walk through the relevant screens with a customer. The demo reproduces selected banking workflows; it is not the transaction system used to execute real payments or securities orders.

A separate tool for explaining e-banking

This project complements our work on BKB’s branch information and customer feedback applications. Each serves a different purpose: presenting information, collecting feedback or making e-banking easier to understand. The e-banking demo focuses on that last task.
